With any of the phone providers that are not Vodafone or Spark, you may need to change the APN settings so that the phone can connect to the internet.

To get the most up to date info, search: [phone provider name] APN setttings.

Warehouse Mobile Instructions:

NOTE: – (Cellular or) Mobile data must be enabled before use (via Settings > Network & Internet > Data usage).

Setting up the Data account

  1. On the device, from the Apps menu, select Settings > Network & Internet > (Cellular or) Mobile network(> select data SIM) > Access point names.
  2. Tap + (the ‘plus’ symbol) to create a new Access point and input the values listed below: –
    • Name: Warehouse
    • APN: warehouse
  3. Enter the User name and Password listed below. If no value is listed, leave the field blank.
    • Username:
    • Password:
  4. Set the APN type as default.
  5. Save the APN (Menu > Save) and, if necessary, tap Warehouse to set the profile as default.
  6. Return to the Home screen.

The settings are saved and the service is ready for use.

Skinny Settings:

  1. On the device, from the Apps menu, select Settings > Network & Internet > (Cellular or) Mobile network(> select data SIM) > Access point names.
  2. Tap + (the ‘plus’ symbol) to create a new Access point and input the values listed below: –

Name: Skinny Data
APN: wapaccess.co.nz
MMSC: http://mms.mmsaccess.co.nz/
MMS Proxy 210.55.11.73
Port: 80
MCC: 530
MNC: 05
Authentication type: leave blank* (However, if you are roaming, try selecting PAP)
APN Type: default,mms,supl
APN Protocol: IPv4
User name and Password: leave blank

2 Degrees:

  1. Select the Menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Wireless and Networks (in some models, this is also Wireless Controls).
  4. Scroll down and select Mobile Networks.
  5. Scroll to Use only 2G Networks select OFF (not available in all models, if you don’t see this option, skip ahead).
  6. Scroll to Enable 3G and select ON.
  7. Scroll to Enable Always on Mobile and select ON.
  8. Scroll to Use Packet Data, Enable Data or Traffic Data and select ON.
  9. Scroll to Data Roaming select ON. Note: Not all options are available on all Android platforms, enable what is applicable.
  10. Select Access Point Names.
  11. Select Menu (looks like four horizontal lines, a square within a square or the word Menu) and select New APN.
  12. Type Name as 2degrees Internet and select OK.
  13. Type APN as internet and select OK.
  14. Leave Proxy as not set.
  15. Leave Port as not set.
  16. Scroll to Authentication type and select none (some models may not have this option, if not skip ahead).
  17. Scroll to the bottom and select APN TYPE and type in default (if this field is a dropdown list please choose internet).
  18. Press the Menu key (looks like four horizontal lines, a square within a square or the word Menu) and select Save.This will take you back to the main APN list. You should now see 2degrees internet with a grey circle or empty tick box to the right.
  19. Select the grey circle or box beside 2degrees internet to place a green dot or tick mark inside it.

All you need to do is turn your device off and back on again for the internet settings to take effect.
